Hospitex International, a leading company in instrumentation for Diagnostic Cytology, is looking for a Product Specialist.

The ideal candidate, reporting directly to the Product Manager, is responsible for the specialist support to the commercial structure at national and international level, on private and public customers, and actively participates in the R&D of new products.


  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of the assigned competency products, for which they are responsible.
  • Organizes and carries out presentations and product demonstrations to national and international customers.
  • Carries out the practical activities of R&D and testing of new products, also taking care of all relevant documentation for these.
  • Participates in trade missions, fairs, events, and exhibitions extensively.
  • Maintains and expands contact with Distributors, Scientific Societies and other Bodies and Organizations useful for the development and / or maintenance of turnover.
  • Participates in the production of advertising and promotional material, as well as technical-scientific documentation.
  • Collaborates with sales network to optimize the company’s information flows to the outside world.
  • Ensures that the information collected on the ground is analyzed, processed and transformed into recommendations for the creation of new services and products.
  • Can directly follow some clients in order to maintain a network of collaborations useful for business development.


  • Degree in Scientific Disciplines, preferably Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology, Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Laboratory Techniques or University degree in Biomedical Laboratory Health Technician.
  • Excellent professional knowledge of the Diagnostic market, particularly Cytology, Histology, Molecular Biology.
  • Fluent knowledge of the English language; welcome second language between French, Spanish, Portuguese.
  • Organizational (demo) and didactic (customer training) skills are essential.
  • Team spirit and full willingness to build and establish relationships of trust and cooperation between the various company figures.
  • Availability for extensive travel around the world.
  • Preferred residence in the metropolitan area of ​​Florence.
  • Commercial and Laboratory Technician experiences are a plus.


  • RAL € 30.000 full time.

Export Manager

In order to support the international development plan, Hospitex is looking for an Export Manager to be included in its headquarters in Florence, Italy.

The resource, responding functionally to the sales manager, will be responsible for coordinating all sales activities at an international level, with the support of the marketing office and the internal sales office.

Specifically, they will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Guarantee the achievement of turnover and margin targets.
  • Guarantee the design and creation of a distribution network able to pursue the business objectives of the company.
  • Guarantee the development of both the international market and the agreed marketing strategies.
  • Guarantee consumer satisfaction.
  • Operate in compliance with the directives received, following plans and approved strategies, as well as the policies and procedures of the company.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing management in proposing and defining the strategies suitable for the promotion and the increase of the sales of the products in the international market.
  • Study and analyze the markets, trends and prospects of the reference sectors in support of company development strategies; Seeking new distributors in the world in order to meet the internationalization and growth needs of the company.
  • Provide constant assistance to distributors through training, visits, actively participating in workshops, fairs and seminars, in order to offer the best support in the activity of penetration of foreign markets and develop, where necessary, relationships with the end customer.
  • Constantly analyze the activity of each distributor in the area of competence; annually revising the objectives and the agreements with the distributors verifying their suitability for continued collaboration with the company.
  • Collaborate with the commercial management to define pricing policies, as well as manage and define the price list of distributors.
  • Actively collaborate with Product Managers.
  • Develop the sales budget in collaboration with the sales management.
  • Manage complaints and non-compliance in collaboration with QA.
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of collaborators who report to them, taking care of their professional development.


  • Technical-scientific degree preferably in Biology.
  • Fluent written and spoken English, Spanish, French.
  • Origin from the pharmaceutical, diagnostic or medical market;
  • Experience in International tender management
  • Degree in Economics or similar subjects;
  • Previous experience in a sales position of at least 10 years;
  • Strong business, coordination and resource management skills;
  • Organizational, negotiation and effective communication skills;
  • Optimal knowledge of common software tools

RAL 50.000€ + variable.
